SRIRACHA CHICKEN WITH SOFT HONEY AND SPICY SPICY

Sriracha chicken with sweet and spicy honey. It takes less than 30 minutes to do and it's so much better than taking away!

INGREDIENTS
Sriracha chicken with sweet and spicy honey

  • 8 ounces boneless chicken breast cubes
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs

Sweet and spicy honey sauce Sriacha

  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of sriracha
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes


INSTRUCTIONS
Sriracha chicken with sweet and spicy honey
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Start by breading your chicken. Start with flour, eggs and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Line the chicken on a baking sheet covered with a silicone baking mat.
  4. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes until completely cooked and brown slightly outside.
  5. Take the chicken out of the oven and mix it with the sweet and spicy honey Sriracha sauce.
  6. Serve immediately and garnish with red pepper flakes and green onions, if desired.


Sweet and spicy honey sauce Sriacha
  1. Add the oil and garlic in a large saucepan. Cook 1 minute.
  2. Add the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, water and crushed red pepper. Cook sauce over high heat until thickened, stirring constantly. (About 2 minutes.)
  3. Reserve and leave on low heat until you are ready to mix with the chicken.
