Honey Garlic Chicken
Equipment:
- 12 '' frying pan and wooden spoon
- Sharp knife and cutting board
Ingredients (checklist):
- 2 9 oz / 250 g chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup / 70g honey
- 3 c. Tablespoon / 45 g / 1.6 oz butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1.5 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 sprig of fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. Each: onion powder, garlic powder, salt (and more to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. 1 tsp black pepper (more to taste)
Instructions:
- Let your chicken return to room temperature, then cut it in the center to create 4 breasts of the same size. Coat with 1/2 tsp. 1/4 tsp powdered onion, garlic powder, salt 1 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp. Olive oil.
- Fry over medium heat 3-4 minutes on each side (or until golden and just cooked in the center, do not overcook), then remove from the pan.
- Melt in 3 tablespoons of butter, then add 2 chopped garlic cloves. Stir until the garlic starts to brown (be careful, this will happen quickly!), Then pour 1/4 cup / 70g of honey, 1.5 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce. Add fresh thyme and season to taste.
- Simmer and thicken the sauce for a few minutes, then add to your chicken. Turn off the heat and pour over the sauce to coat. Enjoy!
